The Four Pillars of Ketim

  • Ketim Therapeutics uses an innovative approach combines various omics technologies with advanced computational methods to significantly enhance the predictive power of these biomarkers.

By integrating diverse biological data and leveraging sophisticated algorithms, Ketim Therapeutics aims to identify reliable and robust biomarkers that can be used for early detection, diagnosis, and personalised treatment of perinatal mental disorders.

  • We will employ rigorously validated analytics and biomarker testing to enhance the prediction of mental illness through blood biomarkers.

Our goal is to accelerate and improve therapeutic interventions. We aim to define our services and research by actively engaging with the lived experiences of the community, ensuring that our products are fit for clinical use and not just research for the sake of research. By incorporating real-world insights and needs, we strive to develop practical and impactful solutions that truly benefit patients and healthcare providers.

  • Using our proprietary bioinformatics, we aim to develop a new understanding of tailored therapeutic approaches informed by an individual’s unique biology and the latest advances identified in the scientific literature.

By leveraging cutting-edge technology and personalised medicine, we strive to improve mental health outcomes and provide innovative solutions that meet the diverse needs of patients and healthcare providers.

  • Ketim aims to deliver our solutions to the communities that need them the most. Perinatal depression doesn't just affect mothers; it also has long-term impacts on infants' neurodevelopment, dads/partners, and the broader community. First Nations people, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and migrants are disproportionately affected by perinatal mental illness. My mission is to ensure these vulnerable groups receive the support and resources they need. By prioritising these communities, we strive to make a meaningful impact on mental health and wellbeing where it is needed most.

Developing a blood-based test for predicting perinatal depression

Ketim strives to shed new light by developing a blood test and predictive biomarker panel that will indicate your risk of developing perinatal depression during or following birth.
